Disquiet 2024

Kef Portugal hosts the opening event of the eleventh edition of Disquiet, a literary programme that brings together writers from the United States and Portugal annually in Lisbon. It is organised by Dzanc Books and the National Centre for Culture.
Participating in this edition, which also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, are Ana Paula Tavares, Novuyo Tshuma, Rui Vieira Nery, Katherine Vaz, Jensen Beach, Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida, Annie Liontas, Gisela Casimiro, Richard Zimler, Jessica Anthony, Teolinda Gersão, among many others. Until 4 July, in various locations across the city.

The International Literary Programme debuted in 2011 and has been supported since its first edition by the Luso-American Development Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kef is participating this year by providing the venue.
