DIALOGUES
14 Nov 2024
Brazilian writer Bruno Ribeiro, Jamaican-American choreographer, educator and filmmaker David J. Amado, and Portuguese transdisciplinary artist Francisca Castro Neves will share their experiences of Artistic Residencies, in a physical and mental space that allows for a retreat from daily pressures and distractions. They will also reflect on the role of this incentive programme not only in individual creative practices, but also in building a collective cultural heritage and invigorating new audiences.
The three artists were selected for the first Artistic Residency programme at Casa Mísia, inaugurated by KEF at the end of September. During the conversation, Bruno, David and Francisca will present the work they are developing: a book, a choreopoem and a theatre play. More details about the artists and their works here.
